Peggy Ply was on the faculty of the Somerset Ballet and the Westport Ballet as well as being one of eight original dancers in the professional wing of the Kansas City Ballet, founded by Tatiana Dodoudovska.

She was a dance major at Texas Christian University, and performed in several ballet companies touring throughout Texas and Mexico.
She received her ballet training from renowned teachers from Ballet Russe and the Russian Ballet.
