Professional Division Dance Classes

Criteria for classes required for participation in productions.

*For these classes, age and experience requirements are general guidelines. Actual placement varies according to skill level. Audition may be required.

Recreational Classes

Designed for those who love to dance – no performances involved.

Wee Ballet Creative Worship & Movement – Ages 3-4 White Leotard
Irish Step Leotards and tights with character skirt. Ghillie shoes
Worship Class Black dance tights, compression shorts and t-shirts. Black ballet shoes
Kid’s Jazz Rhythm, isolations, jumps, turns and more that   focuses on the joy of dance Fitted black t-shirt/black dance pants
Martial Arts   I Learn basic kicks, punches, blocks and self   defense techniques Black athletic pants and black t-shirt
Martial Arts   II Continuation of Martial Arts I, introducing   sparring techniques Black athletic pants and black t-shirt
Martial Arts   III Advanced level with a continued progression in all   aspects of training Black athletic pants and black t-shirt
Flexibility/Body   Mechanics Stretches & strengthening exercises for   dancers and non-dancers Leotard and dance pants
Pilates Centering and strengthening exercises for dancers   and non-dancers.

Required for all Level 3 through 5 in the   Professional Division

T-shirt, exercise pants,   mat needed
Adult Dance   Ballet/Modern Learn ballet and modern technique with other   adults Leotard, t-shirt & black dance pants

 

NOTE: If a student participating in the Professional Division Program drops below the required number of ballet classes, the student will automatically be deferred to Recreational Status without performance privileges. In addition, all Professional Division classes may be taken on a recreational basis at the appropriate level without ballet requirements. (See class descriptions above). Level to be determined by teacher.
