Theatre Workshop

Theatre Workshop –  July 6-7th  $100

 Ages 13-18  9AM – 5PM

Instructor Helen Martin

This workshop will offer students an opportunity to explore many aspects of the theatre world while learning to think and explore their OWN creative thoughts. This is an intensive weekend, meaning all classes and exercises will be at a fast, high energy pace. These workshops are modeled in a way that provide as much hands on training as possible while challenging the student to new levels in their skill. With classes such as scriptwriting, acting, and improve, each student will be given personal attention and material that will develop and nurture their creative sides.

Helen Martin (Director) Helen is from Perth, Western Australia. She graduated from Murdoch University with a Bachelors degree in English and Creative Arts, specializing in Theatre and Drama Studies. She has experience and training in a range of performing art forms and sees theatre as a platform for a variety of arts to come together and strengthen one another. Her theatrical resume includes performances in Australia, the USA and South East Asia. As much as she enjoys honing and performing her own craft, her passion equally lies in equipping others to perform with excellence. She seeks to not only to equip artists with a range of practical acting skills, but to also exhort and encourage Christian performing artists to lay hold of the gift of the Holy Spirit within them, actively asking Him for inspiration and greater creativity.
