Traditional, Men’s, and Modern Professional Performance Tracks

One of Dramatic Truth’s goals is to produce dancers with strong technique and a heart of worship. In doing so, these dancers are able to worship and minister without the burden of concentrating on technique.

As each dancer tests into the next level, the class requirements increase based on the difficulty of that level’s syllabus. At this time we offer three professional tracks for graduation. The Traditional Track is a classical ballet track with a strong emphasis in Graham based modern. The Men’s Track is designed to train men in classical ballet and modern with an emphasis on partnering skills. The Modern Tracktrains the dancer in different styles of modern and jazz while maintaining a strong basis in ballet. Each track contains required classes for each level in order to progress through the track. Pointe is required at all levels because it is a technique that builds core strength like no other technique offered. Physical disability is the only reason another class can be substituted for a required class. Class requirements are listed below.

We understand that sometimes a student’s interest or schedule may change, causing an inability to fulfill class requirements. If this situation occurs, adjustments can be made to the student’s class schedule to accommodate their needs.  Students can transition to the recreational track at any time.
