Musical Theatre Class​

DT's Spring 2024 Musical Theatre class for Level 1-2 students will center around the theme of God's Promises as they use their imaginations to grow in their acting, singing, and dancing skills for God's glory.

 

Musical Theatre class for Levels I-II will be a weekly class each Thursday from 5:30-6:30. The class will give students the opportunity to grow their acting, speaking, and singing skills, as well as practice exploring with their amazing imaginations God gave them! Your students will enjoy classes full of:

- Acting games

- Crafts

- Musical Theatre dance

- Rhythm

- Poetry

- Building confidence

- Reading music

- Scripture memorization

- And so much more!

There will actually be two performance opportunities for this Musical Theatre class: Assisting the Wee/Pre Noah's Ark show on June 1st (they will have speaking/acting roles that tie the Wee/Pre dance numbers together) and a piece in the Spring Worship Concert on June 6th.

Students are of course welcome to come try a class for free. Also, feel free to invite other friends ages 7-12 to try it out, even if they are not a current DT dancer (this class will focus much less on dance technique). Commitment forms to perform in Noah's Ark and the Spring Worship Concert will be due January 20th.
