Service Description

Ballet IIIA Beginning-Intermediate Ballet – Female dancers’ first year on pointe. Students add turns, small jumps, and large leaps to their foundational technique. Dancers may take part in onstage performance pieces that contain intricate choreography and challenging techniques. Ballet IIIA students have the option to audition for Dramatic Truth’s Youth Company. This class does not perform in the Spring Worship Concert. See Beginning Pointe. Girls: DT hunter green leotard purchased at Dramatic Truth, pink tights. Boys: black tights, dance belt and black ballet shoes purchased at any dance store, and black under armor shirt purchased at any sports store. Ballet IIIB Intermediate Ballet – Dancers learn more difficult turns in new positions and all directions in faster paced classes. Combinations of previously learned steps are linked together to create beautiful choreography. Ballet IIIB students have the option to audition for Dramatic Truth’s Youth Company. Beginning Pointe Students learn basic pointe technique and have the opportunity to perform on pointe for the first time! A specific Theraband is required for this class; see teacher for details.
