Service Description

Does your daughter dream of becoming a ballerina?  Does your son love to explore movement?  Do they dance everywhere they go? If so, then register for your free trial ballet class, and bring a friend! Beginning each class with prayer, your child will learn the basics of ballet technique as well as worshipping the Lord with movement.  Also, their dream of performing becomes a reality as they take the stage in the Mystery of Christmas and the Spring Worship Concert. Ballet IA: Students learn a more comprehensive ballet vocabulary as well as the fundamentals of classical ballet technique. Students continue to explore the connection of their Christian Faith and worship with dance. Ages 7-8. One class per week to perform. Girls: lavender leotard and pink tights purchased at Dramatic Truth, pink leather ballet shoes purchased at any dance store. Boys: black tights, dance belt and black ballet shoes purchased at any dance store, and white under armor shirt purchased at any sports store. Ballet IB The vocabulary learned in Ballet IA is now executed at a greater speed and with more strength. After having learned the basics, this beginning ballet class starts to incorporate blocking and spatial awareness. Movement vocabulary that requires more coordination and experience are added to the syllabus while keeping the core love for movement and dance. Ages 8-9. Requires at least one year of ballet experience. Two classes per week to perform.
